As crew, you have a couple goals to keep in mind – balancing these can be tricky. You want to:

- Complete your tasks

- Figure out who the impostors are

- Not make yourself look suspicious

Note that avoiding death isn’t on the list – yes, it’s better if you don’t die, but you win the game at the end whether you’re alive or not, and sometimes putting yourself at risk can be good. The worst possible things you can do as crew are implicate another crew member, clear an impostor, or be voted off by crew, so try and pay attention to what’s going on.

Completing tasks is fastest if you run off by yourself, but you risk dying if you do. However, running by yourself also increases your odds of finding bodies / stumbling across a kill. Some amount of running around is good early, but later in the game you want to try and hang out with crew.

You generally want to clear emergencies if you are near them, but keep in mind that impostors call emergencies to cover bodies, so sometimes it’s worth exploring in the opposite direction. For example, if reactor gets called and the fix is on the left side of the map, going right and looking for bodies can be a good plan.

Here are the basics you want to try and hit each meeting (particularly the first couple):

- Where are the bodies // when was the last time those crew were seen alive

- Where is everyone

- Who can verify other people’s stories

As it turned out, I actually killed Andrew and LadyAtarka got blamed for it. Note that I said what I did and who saw me, I just left out the first part of my day (the part that involved me slaying somebody). Pay attention to who is talking, what they are saying, and why – in that meeting, BK basically cleared Wrapter, which makes Wrapter’s accusation of Lady much more compelling.

Note that this game involves an accumulation of evidence. In that particular meeting, Lady didn’t actually get voted out, but she was now incredibly suspicious, and she got voted out later. You should keep track of people with unverified stories (“I was in reactor by myself”) and who is near the kill (“Wrapter, Lady, and Sam were all near Navigation where a body was found”). All of that matters later, as you may eventually have to choose between two people, and the person with more suspicious evidence is usually the right choice.

Meetings can get hectic, and sometimes heated. Keep an eye on people who have bad stories, who try and waste time or sow confusion, or who are stumbling or taking a long time to recount things. Crewmates can and do all of the above, but impostors have an explicit reason to, so if someone is being confusing or wasting time I do get suspicious of them. It’s also harder to lie than tell the truth, so if someone is vague or look like they are trying to concoct a story rather than just recount one, those are also tells.
